The Event Kitchen is a small catering company based in the heart of the Dordogne, we specialise in catering for weddings and events across South West France.
Having worked in the catering and tourism industries for over 30 years we know delicious food and service is key to a great event. As one of the most significant occasions in your life, we understand how important your wedding day is to you both. Our approach is very much tailored so that we take the time to get to know couples and really understand exactly what their vision is for their day and what they are looking for in their caterer.
We will work closely with you to design the perfect menu that reflects your style and taste. We have a very wide range of sample menus for you to choose from, but that doesn’t mean we won’t create something that’s not in print!
Planning a wedding is a big job, but we will ensure you get the personal touch all the way through. To maintain standards and to give you our undivided attention we only cater for one wedding a week, which means our availability is limited!
We have developed a series of sample menus to prompt inspiration. If you're considering a sit down meal Presley has created a 5 course Sit Down menu that includes, Canapes, Starter, Main, Dessert, Cheese & Coffee, with a French influence, using fresh, seasonal produce and his take on some regional specialities. Many couples choose to have the cheese course served as a lovely cheese platter later in the evening.
