Hi there. My name is Michelle Roberts and I have been a wedding celebrant in France since 2019.
I completed my Celebrancy training with The Fellowship of Professional Celebrants in the UK. I have been living in France since 2010 - firstly, in the Cote d'Azur and for the last seven years I have been living in the beautiful Dordogne region of France. Originally from Australia, I have lived in the U.S., Singapore and Japan before settling in France. I worked as a First Class long haul flight attendant before settling in France and finding my love for everything to do with weddings. I love what I do and I like to think it shows!
My ceremonies are very personal and I love getting to know my couples and making their day as special as they are. I am now based in the Dordogne and love to carry out wedding ceremonies in the surrounding area so please get in touch to check my availability.
My favourite part of your ceremony is the retelling of your love story. After all, that's what everyone is there for! Your guests want to hear how you met, your first date, special events in your lives, favourite holidays, funny stories and of course the all important proposal. Was is it on a cliffside at sunset, on a deserted beach or in a place that has special meaning for you both? I will work with you to create that perfect script as well as helping you choose readings, songs, poems and of course guide you with your vows. We can also work together to incorporate special ceremonies, such as unity candles, sand blending or hand fasting rituals.
For more information on the services that I can provide please do get in touch as I would love to talk through your ideas. I am open to any suggestions to personalise and make your special day unique. I look forward to hearing from you!
