Some personal experiences have profoundly changed my vision of wedding photography. As a bride and groom, a guest or even a photographer, I have witnessed many times a gap between the intensity of the moments we experience at a wedding and the poor capacity of photos to transcribe these emotions. The shots, although technically successful, seemed a little “flat”.
It was in these moments that I understood the difference between simply capturing images and creating living memories.
I felt the need to create something different. As close as possible to the people I photograph, at the heart of the action.
